PATCH NOTES

Track every update, fix, and new feature as Craft & Conquer evolves through alpha development.

This patch introduces major new systems including schematics for crafting progression, a 10-level machine upgrade system, and the tablut board game at the Happy Boar tavern. Players can now rename chests, pay to teleport to the trading post, and reveal approximate player locations via the encyclopedia. Additional quality-of-life improvements include monument attack notifications, truncated faction names in the diplomacy UI, and significant performance fixes. Beta launches May 30th at 3 PM CST!

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug related to territories not displaying with the correct orientation on the client.
  • Fixed a bug where siege deployables could be undeployed by members not in your faction or allied to your faction.
  • Fixed a bug where inventory closes when transferring items while overencumbered.
  • Fixed a bug where machines placed close to one another do not properly resolve, resulting in one disappearing.
  • Fixed a major FPS drop when wielding the repair hammer.

Changes

  • Added a notification to all faction members when the monument is under attack, and when it is below 15% HP.
  • Added a tablut board game to the Happy Boar tavern. You can play against other players and bet up to 5,000 gold.
  • Added a schematics system. You must now spend gold to unlock schematics in order to learn how to craft items.
  • Added an upgrade system. Machines now have 10 levels, and each level costs gold to upgrade, typically increasing HP, inventory capacity, and crafting efficiency.
  • Added an option to pay to teleport to the trading post area.
  • Added the ability to rename chests (e.g., Armor, Weapons, Resources).
  • Added a name change feature, accessible from your hero page on the encyclopedia.
  • Added a feature to reveal an approximate location of a player, accessible from their hero details page on the encyclopedia.
  • Added most victories, deaths, richest player, and biggest crafter to encyclopedia stats.
  • Added prison breakout feature to the captured state as well.
  • Added better repair hammer interaction to allow removal of entities.
  • Truncated faction names in the diplomacy manager for a cleaner UI.
  • Workbench, stable, and kitchen production is now processed by the machine instead of being added to your inventory immediately.
  • Selling items to the crown will list them on the player market with a 25% markup.
  • Modified the base value of resources.
  • Ladders, siege towers, and carts are now craftable at freemen workbenches too.
